Maya Abdominal Therapy
Notes from the Founder:
I learned how to do Maya Abdominal Therapy because it was done on me. I was wanting digestion help. My massage therapist did this modality on me and little did I know that it would help my periods. She asked me how my periods were and I said "normal". She said the next period I have I would have coffee ground looking clots in the next period, because of old stagnant blood. Honestly, I did not believe her. But, yo and behold I had coffee ground looking clots in the next period, then the next period was fresh red blood. I had less cramping and less nausea. I used to get so nauseous and I would throw up during my periods that it was hard to function. I thought it was normal because I was told it was "normal". After I experienced that I wanted to help others experience their new normal. When I went to the practitioner training, I got more healing after I had a baby. I realized more of the power of this work and the issues it can help. I am so excited to help women not have to suffer and just deal with it like we are told to do.

Abdominal Massage
It includes work on abdomen and the back/sacrum. Purposeful strokes and techniques to help with circulation, hip correction, which can influence uterus position. A mal positioned uterus may contribute to pelvic floor issues, incontinence, etc.
Self-Care Massage
I will teach you techniques to do self-care massage on your own. What you do on your own will help what we do in-person.
Other Modalities
